Come along, take a deep breath and relax. Experience the health benefits of working
in this lovely setting. This workshop is dedicated to the experience of working with
Clay. Ideal for anyone who is new to clay and would like a gentle introduction to the medium but versatile enough to satisfy the most ambitious of potters. In this workshop you will have an opportunity to experiment with different
ways of working in clay.

What You Will Learn
Course Structure
Using a choice of hand building methods you will
create one or several pots depending on your speed and the size of the pot. We’ll then decorate your pots with ‘slip’ (coloured liquid clay) or under-glaze paints. Carving / texture stamps / cutters and other tools will be available
to create patterns into the clay.
Self development
All materials are included in the price of the workshop, including the glazing and firing of the work. You will be informed when your finished
work is ready for collection at a later date or for
the cost of postage and packaging we will arrange delivery to your home address.
Creative Spark
Please bring along photographs / sketches of anything you particularly would like to make. Wear old comfortable clothes and footwear to
cover the toes. Hot drinks, water and biscuits will be provided, please bring a packed lunch. Children under 14 to be accompanied by an
adult.
